Joe Hehir is a pioneer in the training industry. He developed and sold the
first blended training program in North America to train Novell Systems Engineers in
Prince George, British Columbia using computer based training, video conferencing,
and testing products to ensure student comprehension of objectives. He founded,
developed, and grew two Atlanta training schools where he enrolled over 400
students to train as Microsoft Engineers, A+ and Network+ technicians, and Cisco
Engineers. He used computer based training, hired certified instructors, and
provided hands.on labs to cement required skills. In 1999, he had revenue of $1.5
million at TechNet Training Centers in Marietta, GA.
Joe has an extensive retail background as a senior systems analyst and inventory
manager for national retail firms in both the U.S. and Canada. He has managed
multi-million dollar systems projects. He is a trained educational professional with
over five years of post secondary teaching experience. He created over 240 hours
of instructor led training in leading edge technology at a computer school in
Edmonton, Alberta where he developed and taught courses that he handed off to
more junior instructors who he then supervised. He has an educated understanding of adult learning theory with the ability to effectively reach a diverse learning community. As a trained Performance Consultant, he provided tools and techniques to improve organizational and people performance, identified stakeholders, developed interventions, and implemented complex strategies to improve job performance. Finally, Joe has outstanding oral and written skills. He has led and participated in multi-disciplinary teams and been praised for his communication skills. picture
